Deb Baker learns at home (and everywhere else life takes them) with her two children and husband. She is a writer and poet, whose work has appeared or is forthcoming in journals and anthologies in the U.S., Japan, and Europe. After living in a small rural town in the deep South for five years, Deb and her family moved back to New Hampshire in late 2007, where she is active in her community, volunteering with refugee resettlement, participating in book discussion groups, advocating for the world’s children with Mothers Acting Up, and singing in Songweavers. She’s a member of NH Writer’s Project and a guest blogger for NH Public Radio’s Word of Mouth. In late May 2009, she became the events coordinator at Gibson's Bookstore.
